MUMBAI: A man has been booked for allegedly abusing and spitting on a cop, Deepak Lokhande (32), when asked to leave the Vasai railway station where he was found kissing a girl and indulging in the obscene act in a public place at night on April 19.
The accused identified as Kuldeep Tiwari (27) was arrested a day after the incident under the IPC sections for hurt, insult, criminal intimidation, and deterring a public servant from performing his duty.
The incident occurred at around 10.36 pm when Lokhande was on night duty at the railway station. “On noticing Tiwari indulging in the obscene act with a girl publicly Lokhande asked him to leave.
