Earlier AC trains services was running during non peak hours from Titwala railway station.
Central railway has decided to increase the number of AC locals on main line that includes one train service from Titwala railway station during 8.33 am in peak hour time.
Shivaji Sutar, Chief Public Relation Officer of Central railway, Mumbai Division said, “With the increase of 12 AC services on main line (CSMT-Kalyan/Titwala, Badlapur) on weekdays the total AC services Main line will increase from 44 to 56″.
Earlier there was no AC local in morning peak hour from Titwala. Looking at demand of AC local trains after fares was reduced by 50% by Central railway, the passengers from Titwala are demanding to start AC local train services on route during peak hours time when many goes to offices in Mumbai for work.
