MUMBAI: Mumbai’s Sakinaka Police on Friday filed a case of fraud against three people and arrested them from Noida in UP for allegedly cheating people in the name of providing them jobs in the Merchant Navy.
Sixty-four passports were also seized.
The accused have been identified as Shivam Gupta, Siddharth Vajpayee and Udit Singh.
The accused have prior cases of fraud registered against them in Navi Mumbai and Thane in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan and Lucknow in UP for running fake job rackets.
