MUMBAI: A 29-year-old nurse — who spent 33 days in jail after she was arrested for allegedly assaulting a cop at Ghatkopar in Mumbai — after he questioned her for not wearing a mask has been granted bail by a sessions court.
The cop had alleged that she argued with him and also called people who assaulted him.
Others accused in the case have been granted bail.
The maximum sentence the charges attract is three years.
Granting the woman, Roshna Jadhav, bail the sessions court said, “Considering the nature of offence, the majority investigation might be over. Therefore, she can be released on bail.”
