Mumbai crime branch, probing the kidnapping of a 22-year-old MBBS student Swadichcha Sane, has found that the arrested accused, Mithu Singh, 32, had sent Sane a friend request on Facebook the morning she went missing. “We have found that Singh had sent Sane a Facebook friend request at 4am on November 29, 2021. We have roped in our cyber police station team to investigate this angle,” said a senior crime branch officer.
