Thane-Kalyan Up and Down slow lines from 11 am to 4 pm
Down Slow/Semi fast services leaving Mulund from 10.43 am to 3.46 pm will be diverted on Down fast line between Mulund and Kalyan stations, halting at Thane, Diva, Dombivali stations and will arrive at the destination 10 minutes behind schedule.
Up Slow/ Semi fast services leaving Kalyan from 10.37 am to 3.51 pm will be diverted on Up fast line between Kalyan and Mulund stations, halting at Dombivali, Diva, Thane stations and further will be re-diverted on Up Slow line at Mulund station and will arrive destination 10 minutes behind schedule.
All Up and Down slow services leaving/arriving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus between 11 am to 5 pm will arrive/depart 10 minutes behind schedule.
Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus – Chunabhatti / Bandra Down harbour line from 11 am to 4 pm and
Chunabhatti / Bandra- Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Up harbour line from 11.10 am to 4.10 pm
Down Harbour line services to Vashi /Belapur/Panvel leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai from 11.34 am to 4.47 pm and Down Harbour line services to Bandra/Goregaon leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai from 09.02 am to 4.43 pm will remain suspended.
Up Harbour line services for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai leaving Panvel/Belapur/Vashi from 9.53 am to 3.20 pm and Up Harbour line services for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai leaving Goregaon/ Bandra from 10.10 am to 4.58 pm will remain suspended.
However, special services will run between Panvel and Kurla (Platform No.8) during the block period.
Harbour line passengers are permitted to travel via Main Line and Western Railway from 10 am to 6 pm during block period.
Western Railway’s jumbo block on harbour lines between Mahim and Andheri on July 11
To carry out maintenance work of tracks, signaling and overhead equipment, five hours of jumbo block will be taken on Up and Down harbour lines between Mahim and Andheri Railway stations from 10:35 hrs to 15:35 hrs on Sunday.
During the block period, all Goregaon trains and Harbour services towards Central Railway and some of the Churchgate – Goregaon slow services will remain cancelled.
Meanwhile, hours after taking charge as new Railway Minister in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s new cabinet, Ashwini Vaishnaw has directed all the officials of his team to work in two shifts. The railway ministry has directed that the first shift will start at 7 am and end at 4 pm while the second shift will start at 3 pm and end at 12 midnight. Railway Ministry spokesperson DJ Narain said that the order has been issued only for MR (Minister of Railways) cell and not private or Railway staff. Narain said that the Minister of Railways has directed that all the offices and staff of the minister’s office will work in two shifts. “It’s for officers in MR cell only as is written in the note and it means — ‘Miles to go before we sleep!’ So much is to be done and every minute counts for the Railways on a mission mode. MR cell means minister’s office, not private, Railway staff,” he added.
Vaishnaw, a former IAS officer, was appointed as the Minister of Railways, Minister of Communications, and Minister of Electronics and Information Technology on Wednesday. He took charge of the ministries on Thursday morning.
