MUMBAI: A man was apprehended with e-cigarettes worth Rs 66 lakh when his vehicle was stopped for inspection at a police roadblock in Masjid Bunder area of south Mumbai, an official said on Sunday.
The car contained ten boxes, each containing 300 e-cigarettes, and a case was subsequently registered at the Dongri police station, he added.
The accused had tried to flee from the nakabandi but was pinned down following a chase, the official said.
