KALYAN: A major fire broke out at Adharwadi dumping ground in Kalyan (West), engulfing the entire area into thick smoke on Thursday.
Officials said four fire brigade vehicles and five water tankers of Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation were pressed into service to control the blaze.
Officials said that the blaze broke out on Thursday evening.
“It looks the fire broke out due to rising temperatures and it will take time to control it,” an official said.
