THANE: The twin cities of Kalyan and Dombivli in Maharashtra’s Thane district recorded 61 new cases of coronavirus on Tuesday.
Also, one more person succumbed to Covid-19 in the past 24 hours.
Out of the total new cases, the highest of 19 was reported from Dombivli east, followed by 13 each in Kalyan west and Dombivli west. Kalyan east saw 11 new cases.
One person each tested positive in Manda-Titwala and Mohane regions.
Also, as many as 107 persons were discharged from hospitals and Covid care centres on Tuesday. With that, the total number of recoveries in the Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Corporation limits has reached 1,38,389.
At present, 662 persons are undergoing treatment in the civic body’s jurisdiction.
