The demolition had begun on July 22 and after seven days, it was completed with the help of a poke lane machine.

The building with 38 flats and five shops were demolished on Thursday.

The civic body said that the court on July 8, 2021, had ordered to evacuate the building in seven days and demolish it in 15 days.
Accordingly, a survey was conducted and all the tenants and owners were issued occupancy certificates by the civic body.
